Tear
How hard is it to talk about life, when you are hunted by death... ?
How hard is it to believe in love and kindness, when you are hunted by hate? How difficult is it to kindle hope and the spark of hope, when everything around you is just darkness? Imagine that a life can be saved only by rage, although you’d rather enjoy the sun and the closeness of your beloved one, rather than keep shooting at the enemy, day and night…
This is also the case in our play – we talk about hope and life, hate and fear and love and dispair. Even though we are running away from gunshots, and try not to fall into traps, we know that everyone has already fallen… But yet, there is somehow still room to run, still space to jump, in the suddenly closing-in circle of life.
In our performance, Ukranian, Lithuanian and Persian artists come together for a unique co-creation. We co-exist and co-create for one goal; because the war is against all of us, and we all want to live!
